"The expensive room had no daylight and was on the ground floor so we had to have the lights on , therefore we either lived in a goldfish bowl or a windowless cell---some resort! Reception made it worse by telling us we had a very nice room! Some compensation would be appreciated. Mike"

Sturbridge Host Hotel and Conference Center On Cedar Lake is located on nine acres of scenic countryside, directly across the street from Old Sturbridge Village, one of the country's most celebrated interactive historic village recreations.

Guests are invited to take a spin around the miniature golf course and use the fully-equipped fitness center, indoor pool and whirlpool. Bring racquets for racquetball and tennis, and take a dip at the private beach on Cedar Lake. There are also paddle and pontoon boats for use on the lake.

Guest rooms are equipped with a large desk and lamp, telephone with dataport, coffeemaker with supplies, cable television with remote control and movies, a hair dryer and ironing facilities.
